What's Next

 

Reach the goal was for us a new beginning. After we successfully made the first Rootless we started to investigate other possible projects.

​

At the moment we are working on a BMX bike frame entirely in wood. This is a technically challanging projects because of the geometry and the mechanical stress.

 

Beside this, we are working in two different directions: find a design languege for this ancient material crafted in a modern way, and understand how to make this processo more accessible to everybody, without renounce to the beauty and the quality of the final product.

 

To do this we are using different tools, including parametric design modeller, topological optimization, better documentation, a support to the customization process, etc.
